In 1995 the partners Giacomo and Maria, strengthened by previous experience in the sector, gave life to Gia.Ma snc
with the intention of continuing the production of liqueurs which was traditionally carried out by the matrons of the house in an artisanal way and for their own consumption. The company produces, in addition to the classic limoncello, also a variety of liqueurs typical of the Sorrento peninsula and the so-called babà mignon. Furthermore, in certain periods of the year (Christmas and Easter holidays), our company offers its customers a variety of gift baskets with various assorted products (including the classic limoncello chocolates and walnuts in honey).
Limoncello is a liqueur loved by Italians, and it is a typical Italian liqueur. Sorrento limoncello is the limoncello par excellence; indeed, strictly speaking, only a liqueur produced and distilled with PGI citrus fruits from the Sorrento peninsula can boast the term "Limoncello". Exported and appreciated all over the world, the formula of Limoncello di Sorrento is known only to the inhabitants of the Sorrento and Amalfi peninsula and represents a pride and a unicum even within a region, Campania, which has given so much to the typical gastronomy and quality.
