La Costiera is a company specialized in the production and sale of citrus fruits.
Our company was born from a project that has its roots in the splendid Sorrento of the sixties. It is precisely from Sorrento that the Vinaccia family, at the head of the business, comes from. It all started as a small family-run business with the aim of promoting and selling one of the Italian excellences, the Sorrento Lemon, which has now become a PGI product.
It was at the end of the nineties, precisely in 1997, that the company moved to the well-known Agri-food Center in the province of Latina. Over time, La Costiera has become a leader in the sector of production and sale of citrus fruits in general.
In addition to Sorrento lemons, we produce and sell citrons, bergamots, Messina IGP lemons and other varieties. The vast range of fruits allows the company to offer its customers excellent citrus fruits all year round.
Our citrus fruits: quality across borders
We resell different types of citrus fruits in central and northern Italy, supplying numerous supermarket chains. The goodness of our products has landed from a little across the border. La Costiera citrus fruits are in fact exported to England, Germany and Northern Europe. In addition, our company imports some products from Argentina, South Africa and Spain.
We have no intention of stopping, which is why important commercial agreements are being finalized with other foreign markets. Our main goal is to enhance and promote the quality and unique flavor of the Sorrento Lemon, which, not chemically treated, brings the authentic scents of the Sorrento coast to the tables of Italians and beyond.
The plantations where most of our products are grown are located in Piano di Sorrento, Sant'Agnello and other areas of Campania, Calabria and Sicily.
