PIEMME is a modern company, leader in the agro-food and liqueur sector, which produces Limoncello, Babà and its specialties in respect of tradition.
PIEMME was founded in 1969 on the initiative of Sorrento artisans dedicated to the production of lemon-based confectionery specialties and the more traditional Limoncello. Based on this historic recipe, handed down from family to family, and thanks to an innovative technological know-how, since 1986 the typical Sorrento lemon peel infusion, together with the babà, has become the pride and joy of PIEMME.
The passion for local traditions and care for the genuineness of its ingredients drives PIEMME to follow all stages of the production chain, from the cultivation, harvesting and peeling of the lemon to the infusion and bottling, which take place in the internal laboratory: the The artisanal but technologically innovative process is followed by the Quality Control Manager for the selection of excellent products. Equal care is reserved for the production of confectionery specialties, being PIEMME one of the few companies that can boast an internal pastry laboratory.
